March into beauty!

I’ve been BUSY with continuing education, networking events, mentoring group, building our new website, and trying out new products/gadgets to bring to YOU!

Partly because I love to stay current on trends, but also just because I LOVE to learn.

Ensuring I bring the best products, knowledge, opportunities and experiences to you is my goal.

What new things are you working on? Drop us a line and let us know!

How, why & when to clean your makeup brushes

Keeping makeup brushes clean is an important step in minimizing the buildup of bacteria which can lead to breakouts. Most dermatologists recommend weekly cleaning for most brushes.

Frequent cleanings not only keep your skin clearer, but extend the life of the bristles and make for a smoother application.

  • Wet the bristles with lukewarm water
  • Place a drop of gentle cleanser into the palm of your clean hand
  • Gently massage the tips of the bristles in your palm
  • Rinse the bristles thoroughly
  • Squeeze out the excess moisture with a clean towel
  • Reshape the brush head back into it’s original shape
  • Let the brush dry with it’s bristles hanging off the edge of the counter (to allow proper shape to remain)
